What is the Econ Bowl?
The Econ Bowl is a long-term class project that will help students learn about real-world economics.
The project culminates with a performance-based assessment in which one class, representing its school, competes against other school teams for the district, borough, and city-wide championships. For the competition, classes investigate and suggest solutions to a significant economic problem actually confronting local communities, the nation, or the world. Based on its investigation, the class makes a 15-minute presentation and then engages in a 10-minute question and answer session with a panel of judges.
